Jackie O's: Athens Ohio
I especially like this brewery's cans because I'm an Ohio University grad (BOBCATS!). They also tend to have some very cool designs.
The brewery began as a brewpub in 2005. In 2013 they began releasing their beers in cans, starting with Firefly Amber and Chomolungma. Later that year they began canning Mystic Mama. In 2016 Jackie O's began issuing seasonal beers in cans, thus adding more to collect! Their designs are, I think, interesting. Their labels have all been done to date by the Kevin Morgan Studio in Athens. (link opens new window) They've been done by different artists, but I am partial to those done by Brya Perrott, such as the Mystic Mama. Here is what the full label looks like.

I wish I knew something about art so I could make an intelligent comment about it, but I'll just have to say that I really like the design and note that the artist does woodcuts and the labels reflect that.

Unfortunately, with the proliferation of new cans coming out, I was unable to keep up. As of the Summer of 2018 I stopped trying. So this page must, I regret, remain incomplete. I do still collect this brewery's cans, but can not keep this page up to date. My apologies.
