2 March: Started work on my March COM. I also tweaked my February 2008 COM a bit (OK, I fixed some typos!)
1 March: Updated my Top 10 Most Wanted page again. Also I updated my Tapper COM page to add some details I just learned, and I finally finished my January COM! No, I haven't started March's COM yet, nag!
26 February: Updated my Storebrands page for the first time in ages. Thanks D.J.!
21 February: Updated my want list, my Top 10 Wanted and my trading pics.
16 February: Fixed a bunch of broken links on my Rainier Jubilee page. Thanks for the heads-up Kevin!
10 February: I'm snowed in so I wrote my February COM, a Pabst quart.
9 February: It's been a heck of a month. The January COM will be finished this month and the February can will appear later this month.

21 December: Updated my links page.
17 December: Fixed an error on my Croft page.

5 December: Revised my Krueger's Page, my April 2006 COM. Also did a little work on my December COM.

10 October: My site seems to have finally been moved!
2 October: Still working on issues involving migrating my website to a new service as well as to a new computer at home, so a few oddball pages may show up.

5 August: I am moving my site to a new host, iPower. Hopefully there will be little or no interruption. I also purchased rustycan.com (singular) which will redirect to rustycanS.com automatically.
2 August: Finally finished writing my February 2009 COM!

31 July: Put up my August COM! It's not finished yet, but it's started.
26 July: Upgraded two of my previous COM cans, my Hals and my Big Mac. I also finally finished my July COM.
19 July: Added a link to my Eastside page to an artists' complex that currently uses the old Los Angeles Brewery site.
6 July: Put up the start of my July COM, a j-spout from New England.
10 June: Oops, found out that my email account was full. It's fine now!

30 May: Rewrote my September 2008 COM to reflect some more research. I also started doing some rewriting on my Miami Valley Brewing page.
25 May: I posted a new page warning about worthless "reproduction" or "novelty" cans.

2 May: Started my May COM. This month it's a mystery quart to be revealed as the month progresses.

1 April: Put up the beginnings of my April COM, a Hals from Baltimore. Yep, another Baltimore can!
7 March: Updated my page on Gunther Brewing's famed radio/TV show, "A Quiz of Two Cities." I also added a tiny bit to my March 2009 COM. Finally, I updated my February 2004 COM as I nailed down the date when that can's design first appeared. Hummm, updating three pages that discuss Gunther Brewing. I sense a theme!
5 March: Did some more work on my page about the steamship SS Frank Jones. I just received a 1907 pamphlet from one of the shipping lines that owned the Frank Jones that I won on eBay so I have more information and pictures to share.
4 March: Added my March COM, another Baltimore can! I also began doing some work on my page about the steamship SS Frank Jones (named after a brewer.)
3 March: Updated my June 2004 COM, I upgraded my Lion OI can to a nicer one.
1 March: Updated my Top 10 Most Wanted page a little bit.
21 February: Updated the photos on my August 2006 COM.
20 February: Tweaked my May 2004 COM a little including photos of an upgraded can.
19 February: Started working on updating several pages, including my May 2004 COM. I also added new photos (I upgraded some cans) for my February 2009 and September 2003 COMs.
6 February: Uploaded the first part of my February 2009 COM.
31 January: Still working on my February COM.
30 January: Updated my webpage for Bob Kay's label books.
28 January: Started my February COM. It'll be up in a few days.
22 January: Added a postscript to my B&B page (the April 2008 COM).
13 January: I am doing more research on the Christian Heurich Brewery and am looking for former brewery workers, salesmen, etc to talk to. Please see my "information wanted" page. I also updated my April 2005 COM, a Trommers.
12 January: Tweaked my 1970s can page a little to reflect some recent questions & searches.
11 January: Updated both the December 2008 AND the January 2009 COMs with a few photos.
10 January: Added a couple photos to my January COM.
9 January: Did a little more work on my January COM. I am going to try to get some more photos loaded this weekend.
8 January: Uploaded the first part of my January Can of the Month.
6 January: Started working on my January COM. Updated my Definitions page a bit.
2008
I am starting a project I've been putting off for too long, updating my Can of the Month pages. I've been saving articles, emails, photos, etc, and over the next month or so I'll be doing a lot of updates. So, please check here (or my sitemap) to see what I've updated recently.
21 December: Updated my August 2006 COM, a Sebewaing Beer, and did some minor tweaking on my November 2008 COM.
14 December: Updated the chart on my November 2008 COM (several Krueger Beer cans) to make it easier to read.
9 December: I rewrote my Prohibition history page. I split part of it off to a new page on The Wickersham Commission.
8 December: Updated my December 2005 COM, a Bullfrog Beer from Chicago.
6 December: Did yet more work on my December COM. Also updated my December 2007 COM (A Wooden Shoe cone) page a bit. And I updated my September 2006 COM, a New England Ale.
5 December: Did more work on my December COM.
4 December: Got my December COM up.
24 November: Fixed a bunch of broken links on my sitemap. Am still checking the page for more.
21 November: Worked on my Buffalo Beer page (my May 2006 COM) a little bit.
19 November: Updated my main Christian Heurich page a little bit to reflect an article from 1955 I found today.
18 November: Updated my Miss Rheingold page.
15 November: Did some more editing and rewriting on my October 2008 COM. I also did some more updating on my history of some of Gunther Brewing's radio shows.
14 November: Did a little editing on my October 2008 COM. Nothing major.
8 November: Updated my Christian Heurich page somewhat, mostly adding to the bibliography.
2 November: Continued updating my page on Gunthers radio shows.
1 November: My November COM is up, although I'm still working on it.
26 October: Started adding material to my page on radio shows sponsored by Baltimore's Gunther Brewing.
18 October: Began redoing my Olde Frothingslosh page a wee bit. I started by adding some photos of the 1950s can.
4 October: Rewrote my Old Georgetown page.
3 October: Finished updating my October COM (for now).
2 October: Did some more work on my October COM.
1 October: Started my October COM, a Senate can from Christian Heurich.
6 September: Updated my Softtop page with some more brands.
3 September: Updated my Softtop page with some more brands.
1 September: Added a graphic from a matchbook cover to my July 2008 COM (my Buckeye cone).
31 August: Uploaded the first part of my September COM, a Buccaneer Beer from Houston's Gulf Brewing. I will be updating it in the days to come.
30 August: I am looking for old breweriana and beer can collecting magazines for my personal library, so I added a page detailing what I am looking to acquire.
24 August: Updated a few links.
21 August: Busy, busy busy. Created a new page, on Soft Top cans (1960-1965). I also updated a bunch of links on my history page and found that I had neglected a bunch of other pages as well.
19 August: Updated my August 2006 COM, my page advertising Bob Kay's new beer label books, my sitemap, and my main COM page.
18 August: Added a new press link to my home page.
15 August: OK, I uploaded my August COM. I will continue to update it.
8 August: Uploaded the initial part of my August COM. Alas, it will be late this month. I'm sorry, but it can't be helped.
5 August Added a new press link to my home page. (and yes, I known my August COM is late! I'm working on it!)
30 July I've been polishing my May 2007 COM a bit. I have some more graphics yet to add to that page as well.
14 July, added a little bit to my July COM page about Meister Brau.

May 23: Fixed some typos on the December 2005 COM (the Bullfrog)
May 20: Added more photos to my May can of the month.
May 13: Continued work on my May can of the month.
May 11: Added a bit more to my May can of the month.
May 9: Updated my 10 most wanted page. I also finally uploaded the first part of my May can of the month a gold Budweiser from about 1936.
April 28: Continued working on my Christian Heurich page.
April 26: I have started to rewrite my Christian Heurich page mostly just to smooth out the text somewhat and to generally improve the page.
April 21: Added links for a new site One Full Quart a site by good friend Matt M. who specializes in these larger cans.
April 2: Uploaded my April COM completing five years worth of Cans of the Month starting with May 2003. Whew.
March 3: Finished my March Can of the Month a Boston Light Ale crowntainer.
March 2: I have been updating my Rainier Jubilee page.
February 28: Added a page with ordering info for Bob Kay's new label book.
February 23: Finished updating my February Can of the Month.

February 21: Finally finished updating my Most Wanted Page.
February 1: Uploaded the start of my February Can of the Month a 1970's Hudepohl Cincinnati Reds can! Still a work in progress.
January 13: Added a pic to my January Can of the Month page. Yeah that's it sorry.

January 8: I've been away for awhile so January's Can of the Month is late but here it is a Tudor Ale from Norfolk. I am still updating this page so it's not fully done yet.
2007
December 16: I FINALLY updated my dumping pics page. No I do not know why on some browsers the photos and text appear starting on the second screen. If anybody can suggest a fix please let me know!
December 15: Updated my home page a little bit basically rewording some paragraphs and adding links.
December 13: Updated my December Can of the Month a Wooden Shoe conetop correcting typos adding brewery name changes etc. Fixed a bunch of broken links in the Collecting subdirectory (argh) and started redoing my Top 10 Most Wanted page.
December 7: Added my December Can of the Month a Wooden Shoe conetop.
November 17: Added a new link to my Links page.
November 5: I FINALLY got my November Can of the Month page loaded!
October 31: Added a new link to my links page. The Merry Bocksters chapter have launched their new webpage.
October 20: Updated the email address for Carlson's Brewery Research.
September 30: Added the October Can of the Month a Big Mac from 1958.
September 15: Added photos of a new and better example of my November 2003 COM a nice red Jax can from New Orleans. I also added some more links to my front page for mentions of my site in the press.

July 21: I added a bibliography page listing helpful books on beer can collecting and brewing history. The page has helpful links to go buy the books as well.
July 20: Updated my Goebel Bantam history the January: Can of the Month.
July 19: Added some screen captures from "Flying Leathernecks" showing fake Sampson cans to my December 2006 Can of the Month page.
July 18: Finally finished converting all 100 of my pages to the new format!
July 15: Still converting the last of my Can of the Month pages. If any Dreamweaver experts can tell me why some of my pages seem to start well below the top of the screen in IE please let me know!
